Top 10 Recommended Reads in Fantasy:

Fantasy is my favourite genre, I adore all the magical worlds and how often fantasy authors are able to make anything seem possible if it is done right. Whether its high fantasy, urban fantasy or more like magical realism, I love it all. All of the books I have chosen I have rated 4 stars or higher. Lets get into some of my favourite books of all time. I'll start at the bottom and work my way to the best.

Before I start I just want to give a special mention to the Daughter of Smoke and Bone trilogy by Laini Taylor, because it was so close to getting a spot.

10- Caraval by Stephanie Garber

9- The Shades of Magic trilogy by V.E. Schwab

8- The Queen of The Tearling Trilogy by Erika Johansen (If your looking for a fantasy that is extremely intense and that will shock you definitely pick up this trilogy. However I should warn you that this is a mix between many genres not just fantasy and prepare yourself for crazy twists.)

7- Cruel Beauty by Rosamund Hodge

6- Snow Like Ashes Trilogy by Sara Raasch (These books just get better and better.)

5- The Grisha Trilogy by Leigh Bardugo (I would have to say that Siege and Storm is my favourite, mainly because of Nikolai.)

4- The Six of Crows Duology by Leigh Bardugo (I would recommend reading The Grisha Trilogy before these because I feel like they are a better introduction to this world and there are several links between them including familiar characters from that series showing up in these books.)

2- The Wrath and The Dawn Duology by Renée Ahdieh

2- A Court of Thorns and Roses series by Sarah J. Maas (If your new to the genre of fantasy I would definitely recommend Sarah J. Maas books as a starting point because even though they are complex they are also really easy to get into in my opinion.)

1. Throne of Glass series by Sarah J. Maas. (There is honestly no comparison. It is my favourite series and it always will be.)
