August Wrap Up | 2018
Hi guys! I can't believe another month has past, this year is flying by so quickly. I'm actually pretty glad that Autumn is just around the corner now, I'm totally fed up with the insane heat we've been having here in the UK. Give me raining shivery days any time, I would much rather snuggly up under a blanket and dive into a book. For some reason I find it super hard to concentrate on reading during the summery months, you might have noticed that with my lack of actual tbr's and wrap up's for the past few months. Anyway without anymore rambling, here is my August 2018 wrap up:
What I wanted to read:
- These Rebel Waves by Sara Raasch
- Nevernight by Jay Kristoff
- Darkfever by Karen Marie Moning
- Vox by Christina Dalcher
- A Thousand Perfect Notes by C.G. Drews
- Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban by J.K. Rowling
- Sea Witch by Sarah Henning
- What The Flower Says of Death by Danielle Koste
What I actually read:
Only Love Can Break Your Heart by Katherine Webber - ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Catwoman: Soulstealer by Sarah J. Maas - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Vox by Christina Dalcher - ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (Spoiler Free Review)
Pet (Captive Prince Short Story #4) by C.S. Pacat - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
A Bad Boy Stole My Bra by Lauren Price - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The Governess Game by Tessa Dare - ⭐⭐⭐ (Spoiler Free Review)
Sweet Little Lies by Abbi Glines - ⭐⭐⭐
Sweet Little Memories by Abbi Glines - ⭐⭐⭐
Beautiful Disaster by Jamie McGuire - ⭐

August book of the month:
The award definitely goes to 'A Bad Boy Stole My Bra' by Lauren Price with 'Catwoman: Soulstealer' by Sarah J. Maas as a close second!

On top of the books I managed to finish I also read some more of These Rebel Waves by Sara Raasch, Darkfever by Karen Marie Moning and Nevernight by Jay Kristoff. In addition to starting What the Flower Says of Death, which I will probably finish by tomorrow. But I'll be including it in next months wrap up.
As you can see, I didn't get to all of the books I thought I would be reading, but I'm happy with the books I did read. I honestly just tried to read anything I was interested in and I finally feel like I'm out of the long slump I've been in and can get back to my usual reading routine now. Also I'm so excited the new releases coming this September and October, I cannot wait!
Anyway, thank you so much for reading! Don't forget to comment below with the name of your favourite read of the month, I would love to know about the books you enjoyed!! Also it would really help me out if you could like this post if you enjoyed reading it!
