Most Anticipated Releases of March | 2019
Hi friends! Today's post is all about my most anticipated upcoming releases in the book world for March. I hope you'll find a book or two you haven't heard of and are interested in picking up! So without further a do:
Daisy Jones and The Six by Taylor Jenkins Reid
Blurb: Following the making of and the untimely split of Daisy Jones and The Six. No one knows what happens and why they split at height of their popularity... until now.
You probably know Reid from any one of her highly acclaimed novels. Since the release of The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo there has been quite the following developing and even though I haven't read anything by this author yet I do intend to pick up Evelyn and this newest release. I am intrigued.
Expected Publication: March 5th 2019
The Queen's Resistance by Rebecca Ross
SPOILERS FOR THE FIRST BOOK! SKIP THE NEXT PARAGRAPH IF YOU HAVEN'T READ THE QUEEN'S RISING!!!
Blurb: In the sequel to 'The Queen's Rising' finally, Brienna is a mistress of knowledge and is settling into her role as the daughter of Davin MacQuinn, a disgraced lord who returned to Maevana to reclaim his house. Though she’d just survived a revolution, one that will finally return a queen to the throne, she faces another difficult challenge. She must prove herself trustworthy to the MacQuinns. But as Queen Isolde Kavanagh’s closest confidant, she’ll have to balance serving her father’s house as well as her country. And then there’s Cartier, a wholly separate but desirable factor in her new life.
This is a book I've been highly anticipating ever since reading the first book last year and I cannot wait for it! I've heard mixed things from several other bloggers and booktubers about this series but please don't let those things stop you from giving this a try! If you enjoy the books I like you might love The Queen's Rising as much as I did!
Expected Publication: March 5th 2019
Shades of Magic Vol. 1: The Steel Prince by V.E. Schwab
The first volume in a new comic series is releasing this march. If you're fans of the shades of magic series you'll want to check this out!
Info: From #1 New York Times best selling author V.E. Schwab, comes a new tale torn from the Shades of Magic sequence, an all new comic book prequel to A Darker Shade of Magic! (Vol.1 collects the first four issues.)
Expected Publication: March 6th 2019
Unleaving by Melissa Ostrom
Blurb: In a book that is both urgent and timely, Melissa Ostrom explores the intricacies of shame and victim-blaming that accompany the aftermath of assault.
This sounds like a heart-breaking, devastating YA that is sure to hit in the feels. I can't wait to read it!
Expected Publication: March 26th (Kindle) 1st April (Hardcover)
Once & Future by Amy Rose Capetta and Cori McCarthy
Blurb: Ari crash lands on earth and pulls a magic sword from its ancient resting place which makes her the latest reincarnation of King Arthur! Then she meets Merlin, who has aged backward over the centuries into a teenager, and together they must break the curse that keeps Arthur coming back. Their quest? Defeat the cruel, oppressive government and bring peace and equality to all humankind.
A sci-fi fantasy retelling of King Arthur where Arthur is a badass woman?!!! GIMMEE! This book sounds like everything I've ever wanted in life.
Expected Publication: March 26th 2019
Special mentions:
Shadow Me by Tahereh Mafi - Fan favourite Kenji narrates a new novella in the hit Shatter Me series! (March 5th 2019)
Sherwood by Megan Spooner - Maid Marian becomes the new Robin Hood in a creative retelling of the classic tale. (March 19th 2019)

Izzy + Tristan by Shannon Dunlap - A contemporary retelling based on the story of Iseult and Tristan. A forbidden romance filled with passion and secrecy, this is a love story for the ages.
Anyway that's all of the books I'm really excited for this March! Let me know if there's one you're looking forward to that I've missed, I'd love some new recommendations!
Thanks for reading!
