May Wrap-Up and June TBR | 2017
So I have read a crazy amount of amazing books this month! Also its been probably the best reading month I have ever had because I have never read so many books before. There were some amazing releases that I got a hold of and I also got to read quite a few that have been on my TBR for ages. I also got to go to Telford Fanzone/ City of Heroes 3 a convention held by Rogue Events and met some amazing people, including some of my all time favourite actors from Prison Break and izombie.
Lets start with all of the books that I managed to get through (I'll link the reviews that I have already posted and I'll include my rating).
Spellslinger by Sebastien De Castell - My Rating: 5/5 Stars. - Full Review
A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas - My Rating: 5/5 Stars. - This is the third time I've read this book this year and I just love it so much, obviously I had to read it just before A Court of Wings and Ruin released so that I could just continue on as soon as I got a hold of it.
A Court of Wings and Ruin by Sarah J. Maas - My Rating: 5/5 Stars. Oh my goodness there aren't enough amazing words that exist to describe my feelings about this book. It was probably my most anticipated book for this year alongside Tower of Dawn that comes out in September but this so did not disappoint!) - Full Review
By Your Side by Kasie West - 4/5 Stars
My Life Next Door by Huntley Fitzpatrick - 5/5 Stars
Flame in The Mist by Renée Ahdieh - 5/5 Stars - Full Review
To All The Boys I've Loved Before by Jenny Han - 4/5 Stars
The Upside of Unrequited by Becky Albertalli - 5/5 Stars
Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell - 4.5/5 Stars
P.S. I Still Love You by Jenny Han - 5/5 Stars
Always and Forever Lara Jean by Jenny Han - 4.5/5 Stars
When Dimple Met Rishi by Sandhya Menon - 4/5 Stars - Full Review
The Wrath and The Dawn by Renée Ahdieh - 5/5 Stars - Full Review
The Rose and The Dagger by Renée Ahdieh - 5/5 Stars
I also read all three of 'The Wrath and The Dawn' short stories after finishing the duology and I really enjoyed them, I have to say that I think if you haven't already read these and you love the duology you really should because they add a lot of depth to the story. Especially The Moth and The Flame which focuses on Jalal and Despina.
The Mirror and The Maze - 4/5 Stars
The Crown and The Arrow - 5/5 Stars
The Moth and The Flame - 5/5 Stars
Overall as you can see I had an amazing reading month! Let me know what books you read this month in the comments and whether you would recommend them! :)
Now on to my TBR for June:
I really hope that I will get as much reading done in June as I did this month but I'm not going to be too optimistic with my TBR because I really don't want to Jinx it. June is my birthday month and I am also going to Insurgence 9 which is the last con that I have planned to do this year and I am super excited for that. Now into what books I am planning on picking up in June:
First off I really want to re-read ACOWAR at some point in June because I zoomed through it way to fast the first time. So I think I will probably do that first before any of the other books I plan to read.
The Unexpected Everything by Morgan Matson
Attachments by Rainbow Rowell
Wintersong by S. Jae-Jones
Glass Sword by Victoria Aveyard
Thanks for reading! I've got loads of reviews ready to post in June and can't wait to share my thoughts on some great books. I wish everyone a wonderful time reading and please do share in the comments what you're planning on doing in June. :)
